90-Card Game Offers Solo and Multi-Play; Now Available for Pre-Order
CHARLOTTE, NC—November 9, 2021—Today, The Poet’s List announces the debut of WordPit, a card game catering to poets and writing enthusiasts. Serving as the organization’s first official game, the deck is more than just an exciting venture. It is an innovative and fresh approach to a beloved literary concept: prompt writing.
Each box is comprised of two decks of cards containing thirty (30) poem types and sixty (60) word prompts. When paired together, the cards create a unique poetry prompt; with the deck offering up to 1800 possible combinations. WordPit can be enjoyed as a solo game or in a multi-player setting. Scoring instructions for both “Simple” and “Advanced” play are included in the deck. Pre-order HERE.
Though it was conceived with poets in mind, WordPit’s reach may cover any persons with an affinity for the arts, and possible usage may expand to include: classroom settings; icebreakers and leisure activities; open mic events and more.
In addition to the official deck of cards, The Poet’s List will also introduce the Pit Pad; the official WordPit notebook. By purchasing the Pit Pad, players will have a dedicated space to preserve their poems for posterity. The Pit Pad will be offered both in tandem with WordPit and as a standalone item, as products last.
