A Spoken Word Cover of Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself, from Sophia Thakur.
“The other day I needed advice, and a Grandma seemed like the only person to talk too. The problem was that mine had died. When I tried to think up some sound advice that she might have given, I found myself drawn to the memories of her as a dying cancer patient as opposed to simply My Grandma. The thought of cancer stealing my most sacred memories of her scared me to the point of tears. From that pain, that loss…I made a promise. I promise to accept your fate, but not use it to define you. I promise to focus on your golden heart and open arms.”
