Joseph is the co-founder and Program Manager of poetryN.O.W., an after school creative writing program that works with students throughout the DC metropolitan area. Along with Split This Rock, where Joseph currently serves as the Youth Programs Coordinator, poetryN.O.W. is one of the organizers of Louder Than a Bomb, a regional youth slam that serves as a platform for young people to share their stories across boundaries. poetryN.O.W. also organizes the Hyper Bole, the largest individual poetry slam for high-school students in the Mid-Atlantic region.
