Chapman is embracing its poetic side starting Sept. 30, when the Tabula Poetica – the school’s Center for Poetry – kicks off its annual Poetry Reading Series with a talk and reading by author Tess Taylor.
Taylor is an author, poet and English professor at Whittier College whose work has been featured in a number of publications. Her latest collection, “The Forage House,” was released last year.
An El Cerrito resident, Taylor also writes book reviews for NPR’s “All Things Considered.”
Taylor will speak in the Wilkinson Founders Chapel at the Fish Interfaith Center on campus, followed by a poetry reading at 4 p.m. in the Henley Reading Room at the Leatherby Libraries.
