The Poetry Society of Texas (PST) this week announced the launching of its first poetry anthology e-book.
The anthology, “A Texas Garden of Verses,” includes poems from PST’s 2013 Summer Conference. The original 13 member chapter poetry readers from the Summer Conference and 41 other poets contributed to the anthology.
Among the 54 poets are two past presidents of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, the current and seven past presidents of PST, eight Texas Poets Laureate and an Oklahoma Poet Laureate.
While the e-book has been a collaboration of many hands, credit is given to Patrick Lee Marshall, chairman of the 2013 conference. He dedicated his time and computer expertise to the project on behalf of PST. Photo credit for the garden scene on the cover belongs to Andrea S. Marshall, his wife.
