About the Nominees
Winner Criteria: The top three *eligible vote nominees from each category will be eligible to win the award. The winner will be announced at the Georgia Arts, Neo Soul & Poetry Awards Ceremony June, 28, 2014. The popular vote will account for 70% of the criteria the remaining 30% of the criteria is based on a panel of judges who will look at factors, such as sales, professional resume, etc. (*Eligibility is determined by meeting the categories’ minimum criteria i.e. artists must be from Georgia or have resided here in the last 12 months, actively performing and meet professional standards).
